A new partnership for Crave means dozens of young leaders empowered

Crave was founded from the passion to support and “raise up” the next generation of leaders, especially those who are often the last to receive resources, recognition of their talents, or support.

And for over seven years, the Crave team, donors, volunteers, and community partners have done just that with dozens of leaders around Central Florida, supporting passion projects, nonprofits, community networks, and more.

Most importantly, Crave is a safe place for the spiritually curious to ask questions and care for their ‘souls’ – the deepest parts of us. Crave is a space where we delve into the questions and topics that often mystify even the most intelligent, powerful leaders in the world.

Why am I here? What is my purpose? Do I even have one?
Why is there so much division? Can we truly overcome our differences in unity?

Do I matter? Does anyone care about my dreams?

Unbeknownst to the Crave staff, their work and the work of Crave leaders was being noticed by the community. Others were paying attention to the way that the Crave “family” comes together, builds each other up, and positively impacts central Florida..

And that’s why the team at Warren Willis United Methodist Camp and Conference Center approached Crave to ask an unexpected question – ‘Will you create and facilitate leadership development cohorts for our employees, too?’

A new partnership for Crave was born out of the desire to continue to support and inspire the next generation (although this time, a bit younger than traditional Crave leaders!)…

And so, the Crave team has been pouring into college-age young adults who work as “Team Members” at Warren Willis, that next generation of young leaders who are themselves pouring into even younger campers who attend the camp.

But Michele and Shelly aren’t doing this work alone – they hired and trained 3 cohort facilitators to work with the camp counselors, and will continue to coach those facilitators for the rest of the school year. This work is exciting because they are adapting the Crave curriculum to apply to other demographics of young leaders around Florida.

These are exciting times in the Crave world. Because of supporters like you, the team is imagining and seeing possibilities for even further reach and influence, sharing the beauty of Crave with more people. Thank you!
