Gina Dole

Gina’s purpose statement is Facilitating Growth. Facilitating growth for the organizations she serves; for the people that she is committed to serving and her career has been an organic out-growth of her purpose. She brings over 25 years of business and non-profit experience to the Crave board. She currently provides compliance monitoring for independent public charter schools within the Orange County Public Schools district.  She began her career within training/development at UCF and later shifted into human resource management where she served as Director and Vice President of Human Resources for several entrepreneurial enterprises within the private sector. One of her most fulfilling positions was Director of Lay Ministry for First United Methodist Church of Orlando, where she was able to facilitate a team based approach to ministry and promote gifts-based service within the large urban church.

Gina is originally from Miami and Tallahassee and attended Florida State University where she studied Public Relations and Marketing, and later earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in Political Science. She continued on at UCF and earned a Master of Public Administration. Gina and her husband, David have lived in Winter Park for past 30 years and are devoted parents and grandparents to Jordan, Jamison and Trey and grandsons, Dexter and Breandan.

Volunteerism has been an essential part of her life, initially inspired by a close friend to volunteer with Girl Scouts and local schools prior to having children of her own. She has served in some type of volunteer capacity within the public school system since 1983. She has also served as a Stephen Minister since 1996, and volunteered with several organizations such as the Coalition for the Homeless, Great Oaks Village, Junior League of Greater Orlando, Orange County Membership Mission Review Board (MMRB) and Past Chair of the Orange County Industrial Development Authority and Children and Families Services Board. Helping others fine tune their purpose and activate their passion(s) is what drives Gina to continue her volunteer service with the Crave board.
